Petition for Bishop Malone Resignation to Cardinal Timothy Dolan

Trust is gone in the diocese of Buffalo. If we can't trust our Bishop, what's left? The Priest? We don't really know them do we?  All three of my priest have been removed from ministry, my childhood, my young adult and my kids priest are all accused of sexual abuse. Now I should trust a new one?  

Bishop Malone knowingly placed priest he knew had pedophilia accusations within arms reach of children. He let one lead a teen confession knowing he perused young men.  

Bishop Malone and Gross lied to us over and over about the commitment to keep our kids safe, If I google "Bishop Malone apology" I see the long list of proven lies he told, always ending with an apology that he will do better.  

Bishop Malone placed a priest as Chaplin at Brothers of Mercy nursing facility for a "low profile" role,  only for that priest, Fr Art Smith to seuduce a young man in the dietary department.  This happened AFTER Art Smith was sent to"rehab" and requested to go again.  This happened after following a boy at a school he was banned from, for sueducing boys.

This is because Bishop Malone and Gross let these Priest do that.  Those kids are struggling by the hands of Art Smith because Bishop Malone choose to lie.  He took a "generous gift" from Art Smith to return to ministry.  Was this gift worth more than the lives of our children?

Has Malone mentioned this in any of his "I'm sorry" speeches? No, he defects to another report he fell short regarding "adults being protected also" what about kids? What about protecting the faithful from your lies? 

Bishop Malone hasn't acknowledged  the dirty lies he told about Art Smith or  Fr. Ritter.  He refuses to take accountability for his actions, despite the evidence shown on this video.  He returned Fr. Ritter to the church with families and children knowing Bishop Gross had a letter from a former seminarian who witnessed Ritter's "body fluid" on a child in the rectory, but the attorney didn't "call back quick enough" to the Bishop, so he was returned.   The letter is still in the file if Fr Ritter,  ..... Malone still sent him back,  and never bothered to give the other victims an explanation. Imagine how they must feel? 

People of Buffalo, Bishop Malone will not resign, if our congregation was in his best interest he wouldn't have done the things he has done, I don't expect him to start now. Resigning would only show he cares that he hurt us. His lies hurt so many. 

I heart fully and humbly request Buffalo to stop any support to Catholic Charities until Malone and Gross are removed. 

I beg Buffalo to restrict all church contributions, we are literally paying for their sins at the expense of our children, and please consider boycotting your local parish on Sunday's until Malone and Gross are removed. It is up to our community to demand better and receive better.

One person can make a difference, a whole community can make a change.
