Let Janet Jackson know- Fur is Cruelty

For the third year in a row, Janet Jackson has been endorsing the slaughter of minks for high end fashion for a company called Blackglama, the luxury fur maker. They recently launched the “Janet Jackson Blackglama Collection”, which consists farm raised black minks. The collection consists of 15 pieces ranging from coats, jackets, vests, scarves, gloves and other accessories.

The black mink is procured by American Legend Cooperative based in Seattle, Washington and comes from Origin Assured farms. The mink is exported throughout the world at high-end, luxury market prices and locations.

We ask Janet Jackson to stop being the spokesperson for Blackglama. Her brother, Michael Jackson, fought so hard for a better world, which included kindness to animals. He was against the slaughter of animals for fur, as he expressed so well in one of his final videos, Earth Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAi3VTSdTxU). Please continue his legacy and stop endorsing animal cruelty.
