Punish Shooter for Killing Man's Best Friend

  • by: Angela Henderson

Jim Rosauer and his wife, Lisa were walking their two dogs, a husky-malamute cross and a lab-malamute mix,  on a Forest Service road when they were ruthlessly gunned down.  The shooter apparently had no regard for the safety of Jim and his wife and was intent on killing the pet.  The only explanation that was given was that the man thought they were wolves, however even if this reason is accepted, it still does not justify the outcome. Wolf season has been closed since March 31st!

It is incomprehensible that someone would do this and then try to explain it away by admitting to something just as illegal as killing a family's pet. "Sorry I shot your dog, I thought it was a federally-protected endangered species" just doesn't make sense! Please sign this petition to makes sure he is punished for endangering not only the lives of animals but humans as well!
