Statehood for Puerto Rico

Whereas the residents of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico has voted overwhelmingly in a referendum on June 11, 2017, to join the United States of America,

And whereas, the Government of Puerto Rico is currently suffering from a major financial crisis,

Therefore, we undersigned request that the United States Congress respect the Puerto Rican people's wishes, and grant the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico membership in the United States of America.
