Please help my son access the school place that he desperately needs.
A 15 year old with a place at a specialist Special Educational Needs school is being denied the help he desperately needs because of 'costs'.
My son has multiple conditions including Autism, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, mental health issues, anorexia and scoliosis. He has been offered a lifeline in a specialist school for high functioning children but is unable to take up his place in September due to the local authority fighting against all medical and educational assessments.
He is one of many being let down by a system that claims to help vulnerable children like him. Please sign my petition to lend your support to enable all children in the UK to receive the help available to them.

THANKYOU to everyone who took the time to sign and comment on this petition. Despite pressure/evidence against their decision to deny my son his special school place the Local Authority still took this case to tribunal at tax payers expense. The good news is that they lost and he will be now be granted funding for his education.
The stats in this petition will be used to draw attention to the wider problem of a 'system' constantly failing vulnerable children . Things have to change xxx
