Save the atrium and foyer

Plans have been drafted for several expansion projects at Paschal High School. One of those expansion plans will destroy the atrium and foyer area as it is now. This area of the school has long been a focal point for the Paschal community.
The foyer has for 60 years been a meeting place for ALL Panthers, before and after school, a place to send off groups for competition, a welcome to those that enter the building, a place to meet for pictures, a spot for impromtu choir and orchestra concerts, and a reminder of Paschal's place embedded in the terrazzo state of Texas floor.
The atrium, that is set before the remaining Arts and Crafts facade of the original McLean Middle School, provides an area of calm nature and natural light for the school.
Both areas also act as a unique welcoming surprise in an otherwise drab and lack luster design.
Above all the atrium and foyer represent the Paschal family from generation to generation. It is a symbol of continuity through the decades. It has stood strong for 60 years as has the Paschal Community.
Help us save these Paschal treasures.
