Keep the Safe Park Alive!

Lytle Creek is unincorporated territory in the San Bernardino Mountains. For several years various members of the community have tried to build a safe community recreation area for the local children, and time and time again the county tears it down. Even when the area is on private property officials come in and demand the removal of any freestanding or stationary structures. We would like to petition the county to stop the tear downs and approve the community for a local volunteer effort to build and maintain a safe space for the children of our community. All the materials and efforts would be provided by our extensive volunteer committee, not costing the county a dime. Plans for the area include a skate park, a free art exhibit wall (put together by the kids), and a small sitting area for spectator kids, and their parents. Please sign our petition to let our kids have some peace and a safe place to grow.
