Save Parking Around the St. Mary's Strip

There are currently plans to block parking on all streets near the St. Mary's Strip. This would be at great detriment to the arts, music and culture of San Antonio by negatively impacting all of the business in the area.

This parking ban is the recommendation of only a single parking study that was conducted during a huge construction project, and also during Fiesta, a traditionally slow time for the strip. There has been no input form musicians, artists or business owners or an economic impact study

The Strip has been a major hub for San Antonio nightlife and music dating back to the 80s and is one of the only entertainment districts in our city. Stopping people from parking on the public streets in the area would irrevocably damage a music scene in San Antonio that is already beaten down by COVID restrictions, overbearing noise restrictions and construction delays.

We all pay for these streets with our taxes. Don't let a small group of people take away your access to the things that you pay for or kill off the things that you love about your city.

Please sign this petition and come to the town hall meeting this Saturday Oct 8th, at 2:00PM located at the 28 W Park Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212
