No consistency over school uniform and policy changes mean hour long detentions being given.

For nine years St.Peters in Huntingdon (part of The CAM Academy Trust) have been okay with a particular type of trouser for girls to wear and even suggested them at one point. Now they want to change a policy and are dishing out 1 hour detentions until they do as they are told. At such a critical time in a child's education; year 11; when they are faced with making important life choices, they are facing undue stress when there are many more important issues the school should be tackling first. They are not consistent with what is acceptable and many parents have been told some are acceptable but another teacher issues a detention. Stop harassing my child! My child's grey matter is not being hindered by the type or material his/her trousers are made from.
