Help Poros Island resist aquacultural Industrialization!

Our population is only 4,000. According to the recent study of the, proposal by Selonda fish industries, 14.8 tons of feces (which corresponds to a city of 33,500 inhabitants), food waste, medicines such as formaldehyde, landfill waste, etc. will be dumped into our sea every day!! Our Municipality is fighting this monstrous travesty, and we need all hands on board! This is the Challenge we are up against.

Bravo!! Thank you all who helped with your signatures to make this a WIN, not only for Poros but for all the Attiki region~ "With a historically important Decision on 25.11.2020, the Regional Council of Attica gave a negative opinion on the Study for the creation of a fish-industrial zone (POAY) in Poros and fully adopted the requests of the Municipality of Poros, as well as other coastal Municipalities of the country.
