Stop the Poisoning of Stray Dogs in Bhaktapur, Nepal

  • by: Nina Winsnes
  • recipient: Bhaktapur Municipality, authorities

Dogs have been poisoned in Bhaktapur Municipality, Nepal, as an attempt to handle the increasing population of stray dogs. Poisoning is a cruel and short-term solution which causes severe suffering and results in a slow and painful death. The poison is also hazardous to people and pets in the local community.

The dog population needs to be handled in a Humane and Preventive manner, with a systematic spaying/neutering programme. Please sign the petition and urge the local authorities to put an end this cruel practice, and demand them to engage in a Humane dog population control. Please be polite if you comment, for a better effect.

Thank you.
