The Class of 2019 will be graduating in less than two months. While we prepare for the graduation ceremony and the valedictorian and salutatorian gather up their final words for their speech, there is one individual who the students of the class of 2019 look forward to hearing speak at graduation...
Mr. Abdel has been a teacher at Lehman for three years and has taught most of us since our sophomore year. He has shown nothing but hard work and dedication and for many, has served as a mentor. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago we received the news that Mr. Abdel will no longer be teaching at Lehman and will be leaving Texas very soon. For many, this has been tough. We were Abdel's FIRST ever group of students and we are sad to see him go.
This is why, on behalf of the class of 2019, we ask that Mr. Abdel have a spot in our graduation ceremony. We want this day to be special, filled with smiles and happiness, and by having Mr. Abdel speak at our graduation, we will have just that. Abdel holds a very special place in our hearts and we thank him for making our last three years of high school ones to remember.
