This Dog Trainer Is a Convicted Animal Abuser, but Nothing Is Stopping Him From Owning Dogs

Tragically, animal abusers very rarely face any real punishment for their crimes. That's why it was so important that Garry Reynolds was actually prosecuted and sentenced to two years in jail after abusing and neglecting four dogs in his care at his dog training company. Two of these dogs died directly as a result of this neglect.

Despite that, there is no law keeping Garry from working with dogs again when he gets out of jail. The man showed zero remorse for what he did, so this is a recipe for more animal abuse. This man clearly cannot be trusted to be around any animals ever again!

Sign the petition to ask California to pass legislation prohibiting convicted animal abusers from ever having access to animals again!

Garry owned and operated a business called NorCal K9 in East Contra Costa County, California. While in this position, he neglected and abused the dogs under his protection again and again. When investigators went into the business they found urine and feces indoors, animals kept in extreme heat and even raw chicken indoors! He and his partner were charged for unsanitary conditions for this event.

But the charges that finally stuck and got him sentenced were related to four dogs who suffered extreme neglect and heat stroke. Two of those dogs had to be euthanized because they had been so severely neglected, there was nothing veterinarians could do to save them. That means two families lost their dear beloved dogs. The worst part of it is that Garry isn't even sorry. He maintains he did nothing wrong. Which means he could get out of prison and just do the same thing again.

We need to be sure that animal abusers don't have access to animals in the future. Please sign on to make sure Garry and anyone who abuses animals never gets to work with or own them again in California!
