In the past 2 years rent in Miami has gone up tremendously as to where a minimum wage job would not cover a household. You would have to literally work 2 jobs just to pay rent now & its ridiculous. On top of that the apartments that rent went up at are not even safe. As a minority it isn't easy living in Miami. It's great to come and visit but the people that actually stay in Miami live in fear. I would understand if they went up on rent for better protection & security but that isn't the case. So please help sign this petition so we can have more affordable apartments for the people who's not fortunate to have section 8 or HUD so we can avoid having so many homeless families on the street.
