I am an avid animal rights person. I also live part-time in the countryside. I absolutely love the countryside, but I also absolutely detest unnecessary violence towards animals with a great passion. Unfortunately, I sometimes hear gunshots outside. I want to sabotage the shooting.
Shooting out of necessity for survival, while I still don't like it, would not have to be included in the ban. Shooters and farmers may get very angry 😡 if shooting is to be banned, but pheasants, partridges, doves, pigeons, foxes 🦊, grouse, rabbits, deer 🦌 , coyotes, wolves 🐺, raccoons 🦝, bears 🐻 and other animals are being unnecessary shot and hunted in the millions/billions+ each year, often for "sport". Their lives, their everythings, all of their experiences are being taken away by cruel people. Their young are orphaned and their families left incomplete. Some animals may even mourn the loss of their family members. All because some cruel and sick-minded people like to hunt and shoot them as "hobby"/"sport".
Yes, some want animal populations to be controlled and to prevent loss of farm animals and crops, etc., but this can sometimes be done without killing the animals (by use of deterrents, sterilisation, fencing, etc.)
Killing sentient beings unnecessarily is absolutely WRONG and all unnecessary hunting and shooting should be banned ASAP.
