Please give to save wild Horses and Burros in the wild west. The American Wild Horse Campaign raises money to save Horses and Burros and legislate against the BLM's horrendous management program. I was raised on a gentleman's farm in Upstate New York. That is where I learned to love the Fauna, Flora, and respect the land. I loved Horses. I saw the intelligence and a soul, in their eyes. The BLM has a campaign to remove all wild Horses and Burros from their lands. The Ranchers are behind this. They claim Horses and Burros destroy the land. When it has been scientifically proven, it is the Cattle and Sheep. They claim their populations are out of control. There are safe ways to use birth control on the Mares. The BLM rounds up the Horses and Burros by helicopters. Horses break their legs and are euthanized. Foals are separated from their mothers. Who knows what happens to them? They warehouse them in pens for years. This is all done on our dime. Some are illegally adopted and sent to Canada and Mexico to be sold to the Meat Trade. Stop this brutality! Wild Horses and Burros were supposed to be protected by The Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971, an Act of Congress, signed into law by President Richard M. Nixon on December 18, 1971. There is even H.R. 3656 pushed into Congress by 16 Democrat and 2 Republican Congressmen and women. It prohibits the management of wild Horses and Burros by aircraft. It was introduced on May, 24th, 2023. It is not a law yet. If you cannot donate email or write to your Congressman or woman, Senators, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, and President Joseph Biden. Have family members donate money in your name for the holidays or birthdays. This is a David and Goliath story, told over and over again. Will David win? The Ranchers hope we don't care enough about the wild Horses and Burros of the West. In fact they are counting on it.
