Protect the Frontline Workers!

For far too long front end workers such as cashiers, store clerks, and waiters/waitresses have been underpaid, verbally, physically and sometimes sexually assaulted by customers simply because they are unhappy within their own lives. Meanwhile managers, and other associates stand by and do nothing to help their affected worker and usually lean towards the customer's side because most workers are "replaceable".
I belive this has to stop. There should be some sort protection, law or act in place to prevent these scenarios. Many customers (especially nowadays) are becoming hostile towards these workers because they "had a bad day" or were "unhappy with their service" but that is no reason to verbally abuse these workers! They are human beings! Many of the comments unhappy customers make can cause mental problems such as: depression, suicidal thoughts and many more worrisome factors. We can change this by signing this petition! I believe the government should:
    1. Make it mandatory for managers to be unbiased during a customer-worker confrontation

    2. Offer a break after a confrontation. Many of these confrontations can be very upsetting and may take a few minutes for the worker to be ready to jump back to work with a "positive attitude"

    3. Offer a free or discounted therapist consultation. Many of these customer-worker confrontations can be very upsetting offering affordable consultations will help these gard workers come back refreshed and ready for a new work day.

None of these requests are too far-fetched for our workers! Its time for our hard working staff to have some recognition! These requests may help prevent mental issues for our local staff and employees!
Signing this petition, and sharing it with friends, and family will help make this a reality. Thank You for your support!
