While the Kentucky State Police (KSP) are paid to enforce the law and that includes criminal operations involving cockfighting, illegal gambling, trafficking of drugs, weapons and humans that have existed for years - they won't.
Cockfighting involves drugged roosters with blades attached to their legs forced to fight until they die!

On November 6, the cockfighting season will resume and continue until July 2022. We must show KY Gov Beshear and AG Cameron that the public will not tolerate animal cruelty, and we demand they shut down the cockfights since local law enforcement won’t.
Cockfights contribute to the decline of families and communities since they attract other illegal activities including gambling, and the trafficking of drugs, guns, and humans.
