Support the idea to provide Vegreville with a public transit to Edmonton
After doing some research and talking to people on that matter, public transit would be beneficial to all the citizens from Vegreville and its surrounding area.
For this next reason and there are so many more, Vegreville should have a public transit to serve its population.
1- Transportation to our working force. Hundreds of people leave every morning to work in Edmonton. Let's give them an alternative to travel safely.
2- Keep our youth in town. Public transit would provide another option to our youth to study in the city and bring them back home every day.
3- Serve an aging population. Seniors would have a new option to travel to the city to meet with their family and have access to health specialists.
4- Bringing new residents. Vegreville has very affordable real estate. It would allow new residents to be able to afford housing and still be able to work in the city with a very dependable public transit.
5- Discover Vegreville. With multiple events and activities, public transit would bring in more tourists. The increase in tourism would bring in more business to our community.
Collectively we have to look for a way to bring the Town of Vegreville forward and a public transit would be the answer.
