#SAVE COTTON TAIL

We, the undersigned, are concerned about the construction of a CTA station in the South Loop neighborhood at the Chicago Intersection of 15th and Clark for the benefit of the area to be developed to the west, known as "The 78", which already has adequate mass transit access. The construction of this station would require the destruction of Cotton Tail Park for many years, taking away valuable green space from our neighborhood and negatively impacting the park and surrounding schools, families, and dog owners who use the park.

Related Midwest must develop an alternate plan to satisfy any additional public transportation needs for "The 78" which respects the integrity and character of the South Loop Community and must answer questions around timing and full scope of the proposed project.

The Ask: We strongly urge Alderman Dowell to continue to oppose the construction of this station in the 3rd Ward.
