Too often in the world we live in do we see pedophiles get away with the things they do, and it isn't just in our state it is EVERYWHERE. My neices Jasmine Pierro is a 6 year old little girl that was sexually assaulted while she slept by a 19 year old adult. Unfortunately even though everything was done right by the mother, cops were called she was brought to the ER to have a rape kit done, the state police didn't do their part. They never questioned this guy, never took the bed sheets, and never took scrapings from this guys fingernails. Now, this unfortunately means that all of this stuff is now inadmissable in court. This guy is still walking the streets believing what he did was okay because he didn't get in trouble for it. Our courts said it could be up too 2 years before if anything would happen to this sadastic SOB. We need to change the laws for pedophiles in our country. We as parents should not have to feel as if nowhere is safe for our babies. People like him should not be allowed to get away with this and continue to think it is okay to do. Who is going to be there to help the next little girl he decides to violate. It's time to take a stand now before it's too late. I am not just asking for justice for my niece but for everyone out there who has ever been a victim of a sexual assault and had to watch the person that ruined their life walk away as if nothing ever happen.
