Indict Giuliani after his associates were arrested for coordinating his crimes on Trump's behalf

Two associates of Rudy Giuliani were just arrested at Dulles International Airport on multiple felony charges while trying to flee the country with one-way tickets to Vienna, Austria hours after dining with Giuliani at Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC.

Their alleged crimes? Funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars from foreign sources into US elections and a pro-Trump super-PAC.

Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, known associates and "fixers" of Giuliani, were indicted on charges of conspiracy, making false statements and falsification of records. CNN reports the two men facilitated numerous meetings between Giuliani and current and past Ukrainian officials in his ongoing attempts to exact debunked, fact-free damage on his client's Democratic political opponents leading up to the 2020 presidential election. That client? President Donald J. Trump.

Let's let that sink in for a moment. The president's chief personal attorney is willfully and publicly engaging with criminals and cronies to enlist foreign governments to help weaken the president's 2020 election opponents.

The notion that Rudy would engage in this behavior without the president's knowledge or consent is absolutely laughable. We are past the point of gamesmanship or political maneuvering. This is brazen, half-baked, conspiratorial collusion with foreign agents to influence a sovereign election.

The president must be held accountable. Parnas and Fruman must be held accountable. And Rudy Giuliani, a co-conspirator in this heinous scheme, must be held accountable.

The impeachment inquiry of President Trump is not a partisan political move on a chessboard. The integrity of our governing institutions is at stake. Demand Giuliani be indicted for coordinating illegal activity on Donald Trump's behalf.
