Election Day in the U.S. Should Be a Federal Holiday!

Republicans are terrified of letting more Americans vote in elections.

Recently, Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell took the floor to rail against a new House bill that would, among other things, make Election Day a federal holiday — meaning many voters would actually have a paid day off during which they could use their time to participate in the democratic process.

McConnell admitted that these people would likely turn out to support the Democratic Party.

The Republican Party has long hid behind claims that it wants to curb voter fraud and other manufactured problems in order to limit the number of people who can vote. As such, it's time for all Americans to be given easy access to voting in our democratic elections — add your name to this petition to call on both the House and the Senate to pass H.R. 1!
