Ask Doug Ford's to cut his and his government staff salaries after his big pay raises.

Doug Ford gave himself and his government staff big pay raises while asking public healthcare and education workers to take a pay cut. This unfortunate global pandemic has taught us all how important our healthcare workers and teachers are to our society.

The Premier of Ontario has failed on his promised to end hallway healthcare.

Some of Ontario's biggest hospitals were filled beyond 100 per cent occupancy nearly every day in the first half of last year. 83 out of the provinces 169 acute care hospitals were beyond 100 per cent capacity for more than 30 days.

Five hospitals in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as the main hospital in Hamilton, Sudbury, Peterborough and Niagara Falls all spent more than 160 days over their funded capacity during the 181-day period from January through June 2019.

Doug Ford has also made cuts to legal aid, employee protection programs, indigenous affairs, childcare services, scientific research and fighting poverty through the Transition Child Benefit.

Doug Ford has now made small landlords out to be the latest villains asking them to bare the pain that will lead to their own insolvency. Landlords take risks and are an integral part of our economy. They will be asked to pay more in property taxes above the current high levels.

These are tough times where we all need to share in the sacrifice together. Ask Doug Ford to lead by example and roll back the significant wage hikes he gave himself and his government staff.

Tell our Premier that we are all in this together and should all share in the sacrifice.
