Walden University Must Be Held Accountable!

When hurricane Helene wrecked my area in Georgia, I was a student at Walden University. I did not have Wi-Fi for 4 to 6 weeks and I was told that if I did a retroactive withdrawal and a tuition reduction thing that all will be fine and that my financial aid would be set in stone. It would be OK That was a lie. I had to stop attending college and I had to beg for another chance. I had to show proof of the hurricane and medical records. I had to fight, to beg for forgiveness for something I didn’t do. They were not honest with me which led to me having to move back in with my father. I was told my financial aid would be resolved for Spring quarter, but it wasn’t. I work, of course but the extra money from school really helped. I have lupus and fibromyalgia and some days are really hard. I have a huge heart, and I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. Please sign and share. I was out for 14 weeks, and it took months to receive financial aid. I thought it was just me, however, by looking on Facebook groups about Walden they do this to everybody. They do not explain that your financial aid will be affected and that you may or may not be able to finish your education. They need to be held accountable.
