SOS save Indian Bulls & Cows from road accidents

Initiative "Nature Drive NDTI"-In India bulls and cows are worshiped and roaming freely. They cross roads in a slow pace and traffic adapts to the situation with drivers stopping or passing carefully.
* At night they settle at the middle of the road to protect themselves from the wild mosquitos from the fields. As vehicles pass on both sides the wild mosquitos attacks are negligible. But this is sometimes fatal for the bulls as well as the drivers as they couldn't see the black and grey cows.

* With the increasing density and speed of motorized traffic due to economic development we see an explosive mortality rate in accidents with cows getting mortally wounded by broken legs and bones and dying slowly by lack of adequate veterinary care.

* We seek protection of the cows in a better visibility of the cows at night by attaching reflecting and illuminated belts, collars and strips around their necks and horns.

* We call on the owners of the animals who live in these conditions - and authorities in charge - to provide and apply these protective measures to their cows and bulls.
