REQUEST SECOND ZONING HEARING FROM THE FAN DISTRICT ASSOCIATION re:SPECIAL USE PERMIT 1601 HANOVER AVE

We do not feel that the FDA has sufficient information to make a recommendation regarding the SUP for 1601 Hanover ave. We want to assist the FDA in fufilling the obligation  that the FDA's decision is reflective of the surrounding neighbors concerns as outlined in the Bylaws shown on the FDA's website

*** PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITON TO ASK THE FAN DISTRICT ASSOCIATION TO:

1.Hold a second FDA Zoning meeting

2.Post the meeting date/time/ agenda on the FDA website

We do not feel that the FDA has sufficient information , and have not provided a public opportunity for residents of the Fan to voice their concerns regarding the  proposed SUP at at 1601 Hanover Ave. The public input is required as outlined on the FDA's website    " With direction of its Board of Directors, Code Enforcement and Zoning actively participates in zoning variance, and Special Use Permit (SUP) requests that come before the City's Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) and City Council and takes a position on the request in accordance with the FDA's mission statement. Once the City notifies us of a pending case, the committee then reviews the proposal, visits the property, meets with the property owner or representative, and talks to immediate neighbors of the property. The committee then makes a recommendation to the FDA Board. Should the Board vote to oppose the SUP or BZA, the Zoning Committee Chair attends the appropriate meeting to present the FDA's position. Position possibilities include opposing the request, or not opposing the request.
