Stop Devil's Garden Wild Horse Roundup and Sale to Slaughter!

Stop the Devil's Garden Roundup for a Wild Horse Headcount!

Protect American Mustangs from being Sold to Slaughter

It's illegal to sell horses to slaughter in California. Despite the law, the U.S. Forest Service plans to sell more than 300 iconic native wild horses to get rid of them. Who buys truckloads of wild horses? Kill buyers do. They sell to slaughterhouses in Canada and Mexico who butcher American mustangs and sell them as a delicacy meat in foreign countries.

What if they roundup 1,000 wild horses but only 1,100 mustangs exist in the entire Devil's Garden Territory consisting of 300,000 acres of public land? Then they would destroy the herd!

There is no accurate headcount to back up false claims of too many mustangs. The feds' estimates are impossible. The U.S. Forest Service estimated population growth seems fake in an area where predators exist. So how to do they come up with their inflated population estimates to justify removing 1,000 wild horses? Are they counting rocks out on the vast range as horses?

They blame range damage caused by livestock on native wild horses who have no voice.

Stop the Roundup for an independent headcount before this rare herd of native wild horses is destroyed! The U.S. Forest Service estimates are inflated to justify removing thousands of wild horses with cruel helicopter roundups over rough terrain--endangering their lives.

Stop the Sale of hundreds of Devil's Garden wild horses to potential kill buyers! If this is not stopped right now then this roundup and sale will set a precedent for the feds to dispose of native wild horses across the West through the slaughter pipeline.
