A Good Biology Education? What's That?

Our biology teacher Ms.Berg has lost her capability in teaching. She reads off stolen PowerPoints, admits to it, and acts as if reading it once it will cquse it to sink in our brain. If you laugh once at something small, ask a friend for help or ask a question, she yells stating that you are being a distraction. She threatens to send us to the admin over small matters such as a brief conversation over the subject or simple off topic questions. She acts like we get it in one go amd always tells us, "Oh ask for help," but when you do she doesn't even respond. Every time a new subject matter is introduced she is gone without explanation and gives us a 25 slide PowerPoint and a website to look at. 3 projects are given for one simple topic and are all counted as major grades. She gives us a paper with vocab of 25 words or more telling us to Google it at the beginning of every unit. She only accomadates to one learning style, fast. She complains about us being behind on a unit when she will give us 3 projects due by week end. She calls us names like a Kindergardeners even though we are all 8th Graders in an excellerated course. She complains we aren't mature even though we are still just kids. She may call us 8th Graders but she treats us like 1st Graders. We ask her questions that are like "Should it be written on paper or on the document?" She will tell us something, then go back on it calling us dumb for 'not hearing words properly' even though we asked three times for confirmation. She makes us feel dumb when we ask questions even though that's what she claims to want from us. She gives us online vocab and YouTube videos claiming its part of our learning material, but when we are actualy on it, she yells at us to get off of it. On the first day of a new subject matter she yells at us about not getting it even though you can't expect someone to comprehend fully something they have just been taught. She gave us a new unit over mutations of DNA and then tested on it the day after. The unit began with the same website routine ehen she was gone. She only reviewed it 5 minutes before the test. All her lessons are what would be considered 'self-teaching' but her job isn't to make self-teaching lessons, it's to teach us and make us love Biology. The only thing we are learning, is a lack of love for this course. What we were promised was a course that was the chance of a lifetime and was to be filled with fun. She lied to our parents saying she couldn't wait to teach us this fun course when all she does is yell at us at how we aren't learning. Every second that ticks by in that class is filled with despair and confusion. You can see in the faces of the students nobody wants to be there anymore. If your parents/guardians try to contact her about her teaching, she goes by your desk and asks you 'What's wrong?' You try to explain but she gets extremely defensive saying things like 'You're not paying attention,' or 'Well then maybe you should go to the 8th grade classes' when we all took time out of our Summer to pass an 8th grade class. "In high school they won't stand up and lecture for 15 minutes", well ok, then what's college? Is it just a silent class with a profesor sitting at the desk? At the beginning of the year I would time her seeing how long she actually talked about the lesson. 5 minutes. We learned for 5 minutes. Something needs to be done about this whether it be a conference with the Superintendent of our district, a renewal of her teaching or just firing her all together. We need to get this processed and solved soon, or all of our education will be at risk. We the students have witnessed these actions and wish to petition against it.
