On the 24th Dec 2021 my dad called me to ask me to help him because 5 family dogs in his care had been poisoned. 3 of the dogs were my wee brothers and his family. My dad was looking after them while on holiday. The other 2 dogs are his own 15 year old Nala and 13 year old Pandora Nalas daughter. The dogs of my brothers are there pups. When I got to my dads he and I started arguing over what was going on and how best to deal with the 2 of the 5 dogs that were dying. They were having fits and seizers. We were both very upset and couldn't agree how to help the dogs. I tried calling all the local vets and couldnt get anyone this was Xmas eve. I even tried sspca and couldn't get anyone. I had no choice but to call the police for help. The police took nearly 30mins to attend. When they arrived one dog had allready died on us. I had gotten the other one stable in a separate room. The 3rd dog was ok and walking about but very very shakey, it looked like had been poisoned as well an he was starting to show symptoms. The police began taking statements from everyone and started taking pictures of my dads house. Rather than help me get a vet or any one to help, the officers were saying down there radios the dogs wouldnt make it so there was no hurry for the vet to attend. They declined an offer from vets4pets Edinburgh to have the dogs took there. They spent 20 mins arguing with my dad as they said his house was not fit for the dogs an that's what they were blaming as the cause of the dogs being poisoned. They made it into a crime seen and they wouldnt alow me or my mum who eventually turned up to help our dying dogs. We were told not to touch them as they were evidence. We were made to watch them dying. The police eventually seized the dogs after being told by a vet not to touch them till they got there on the grounds they were not in fit living conditions. They did not take the dogs to the vets till the following morning and have not provided explanation for that either. On the 10th of January they returned my brothers 2 remaining dogs. They have not returned my dads 2 his 15 year old and 13 year olds. The are saying his house is not fit living conditions for his 2 dogs. The house is not a palace but it is fit for my 61 year old dad and his 2 elderly dogs he's had since the day they were born. Please all sign this and make the police return these 2 dogs to my dad as none of them deserve to be torn apart after 15 years together as happy family loved companions. The dogs are well loved family companions to the entire family not just my dad. Someone has poisoined them and the police are making this an unwarranted welfare case against there owner. Please all sign and demand the police give them back because every day we still have Nala who is 15 is prestious to her, my dad and my family. Not to mention her daughter and her own flesh and blood family of 13 dogs my family have between us with them 2 being the matriarchs of our familys dog pack.

Sign this now an demand te Police an Pf release these two dogs back for there owner. Court date April 2022 meaning the dogs have been in police custody for 4 months an a trial means longer. Nala is 16 this year she down a shave time to wait to be back home. Please help us get them back.
