Demand Justice for Kimani Gray!

Another young black male was shot and killed by the New York Police Department (NYPD). 16-year-old Kimani Gray was murdered by two undercover police officers after he "suspiciously" refitted his waistband.

When they asked him to show his hands, they say that Gray pointed a gun at them that he did not fire, which led to them firing 11 rounds at the boy. However, witnesses say that this didn't happen -- he was running to save himself when he was shot. He pleaded for his life and was told not to move or that he would be shot again. Friends and family say that Gray didn't even own a gun.

His community is outraged, resulting in three nights of protests and 50 people being arrested in one night.

Please tell the NYPD to do a complete investigation and to stop the abuse that is happening at his protests!

Dear New York Police Department,

Recently Kimani Gray was shot dead by two undercover police officers because he looked "suspicious" while adjusting his pants. They said that they asked him to show his hands, and that he responded by pointing a gun that he did not fire at them. However, witnesses say that this didn't happen, instead he was running for his life when he was killed by 11 rounds. He wasn't even known to have a gun.

Protests have occurred since the shooting, with 50 people being arrested in one night. Abuses have happened at these protests.

It is time for the NYPD to stop these abuses, do a full investigation, and stop targeting the young, black male community.
