Recall Corrupt City of Oceanside Councilman Christopher Rodriguez !!!

Christopher Rodriguez has grossly violated the public's trust while lining his pockets with special interest and developer money by supporting a unauthorized subdivision called North River Farms set to be built over 177 acres of beautiful agricultural land in South Morrow Hills (NorthEast Oceanside), which is ONLY currently zoned for agriculture.
Where there now lies fields of lush farmland there will soon be roughly 600 high priced track houses, and all of the negative impacts of such a urban sprawling project.

His voting on the project at all (and not recusing himself), not only created an obvious conflict of interest, but in doing so he has turned his back on his constituents- instead of standing with his neighbors, the people of Oceanside, he chose to be bought and turned into a puppet for Integral Communities...one of the biggest builders of subdivisions in the country.

This project not only violates current zoning regulations, but it also poses dire traffic, safety and environmental risks and issues that will greatly decrease the quality of life for so many of the proposed projects future neighbors. Additionally, the plan that he enthusiastically voted yes for had been unrecommended by city planner 3 times prior, showing his utter disregard for the wellbeing of everyone who will be negatively affected.

Most seriously, with his selfish and greedy decision he has opened the gates for future development in areas that have NOT been properly planned out, zoned for residential housing. or safely designed to mitigate all of the most important saftey risks in the case of fire or other hazards. This project does not benefit Oceanside.

Christopher Rodriguez is beyond corrupt, extremely unethical and bad for Oceanside.

We cannot wait another 3 years until his term is over...we need to act now and begin to right the many wrongs that he has created inside the halls of OUR city office.
Join South Morrow Hills and the majority of Oceanside and add your name to the list of people who want him out of office as soon as possible.
Corruption in the highest office may be beyond our direct impact, but corruption that affects the health and safety of my friends, neighbors and family is far to close to home and must be stopped at any cost!
