Drop Accused Rapist Ed Westwick From 'Snatch'

Actor Ed Westwick has been accused of rape by two different women, both telling nearly identical stories on social media. Actresses Kristina Cohen and Aurélie Wynn both recounted how Westwick followed them to guest bedrooms they were staying in at his house and raped them after they said 'no' to having sex with him. A third woman has also come out and said that Westwick sexually assaulted her.

That's why we're asking the video streaming site Crackle to drop Ed Westwick from its drama series 'Snatch.' Sexual predators must be exposed and held accountable for their crimes, not given leading roles on shows.

In the past month, dozens of male celebrities have been accused of sexual assault and harassment, with each story further exposing the toxic culture in Hollywood that enables and celebrates sexual predators. Women who have been pressured into silence for years or even decades finally feel safe enough to speak out and tell their stories. And they're finally being heard. We cannot allow this to be a passing trend. We must stand strong against sexual harassment and assault.

Like most of the actors accused of rape, Westwick has denied both allegations against him. But as we've repeatedly seen, there's no reason not to believe the women who have come forward. The LAPD has already launched an investigation into one of the claims, and the truth will come out.

In the meantime, Ed Westwick should not be given anymore of a platform than he already has. The BBC has already canceled a miniseries featuring Westwick, and Crackle should follow suit. Please join in demanding that Crackle drop Westwick from its show 'Snatch' immediately.
