Saving Kester Park and Neighborhood

Homeless and drug addicted individuals and groups loitering in Kester Park. Making it unsafe for children and parents to visit. Local residents have found evidence of heroin drug use on floors by children's playground and restrooms. Multiple homeless individuals hang out in picnic areas and on benches by playground for entire days and evenings, with bags and carts. They leave trash behind and make local residents unable to use location easily for picnics or neighborhood gatherings. Some homeless people who live out of their cars spend days and nights in the parking lot by playground and restrooms. Some local residents have witnessed the homeless digging through trash at park and trash of local residents houses near park. Various local residents feel unsafe and unable to use the park amenities due to the homeless trying to reside in park at all hours. Some locals have contacted the city and requested sheriff to move the homeless to shelters and out of park but nothing was done.

Our goal is to get at least 1000 signatures to take to the congressman in effort to restore our neighborhood to a safe one for our kids and property owners.
