SIGN to say NO to non-conforming Light Industrial - Warehousing and Storage at Kmart and Tom’s sites

Township Planners just voted to allow largely Light Industrial classified e-fulfillment factory operation at former Tom's location, without Public Hearing or Trustee review. Also because they didn't  answer question amongst themselves on how to classify e-commerce packaging, handling and distribution operations with less than 5% retail shopping space. They now plan a Public Hearing and vote to convert into non Master Plan Zoning Light Industrial Warehousing and Self Storage at the former Kmart location. Please sign to show your support of the Acme township Master Plan and that this area should remain CF-Commercial Flex, which is a mix of residential and walkable retail businesses like retail, restaurants and services.

Meeting tonight at 7am in the Mackinaw room at Grand Traverse Resort. Need residents to speak at the podium to have voices heard. The project is short sighted for our community with permanent ramifications. Thanks.
