This cute little mink pictured above belongs in its natural habitat, not dead, skinned and on your shoulders! Let’s continue campaign protesting fur!! Please sign and share this petition worldwide in an effort to stop fashion companies from securing furs from animals for monetary gain. Alexander McQueen does not literally slaughter the animals but the suppliers in the animal farm industry do indeed torture the animals just so they could skin them. We have to put a stop to this unnecessary torture and slaughter to promote sales in the furrier business.

Companies like Alexander McQueen only care about fashion and monetary gain, even at the expense of poor, innocent animals. The thing is that most people do not consider how many animals have to die a cruel death just to make one fur coat. A spokesperson for PETA in the campaign against fur states that “McQueen’s macabre designs might be intended to titillate, but they simply nauseate. There is nothing remotely ‘fashionable’ about the torture and death of animals killed for something that a caveperson would wear.”

During a recent fashion show for Alexander McQueen, two PETA members with blood-red paint covering their hands leapt onto the catwalk and displayed signs reading, “Fur on your back, blood on your hands.” You have to realize, often times these sweet animals are skinned while still alive. Many of the animals are still alive when the workers hang them up by their hind legs to skin them A recent documentary from fur farms in China stated that more than two million cats and dogs are killed for their fur in China every year. Some still have their collars on when they are slaughtered, meaning they were once much-loved pets. China is one of the biggest exporters of fur, considering they have minimal welfare regulations.

It is sad to think what any of these animals have to endure in the name of fashion and there is no way to give a DNA test to every fur item to know its origin. Alexander McQueen was highly defensive when PETA showed up “with blood on their hands to signify animal slaughter” and had these members removed. If they are proud of the products they sell, they would not have cause to fight the truth.

We have got to stop the fur industry and the torture animals have to endure to produce fur products. Alexander McQueen Corporate Officials – Stop selling and promoting furs as part of your fashion promotions and inventory. It is disgusting that you promote the slaughter and torture of innocent animals for your monetary gain. It is like you are skinning them alive yourself, as most of these animals are, with blood on your hands!! Stop killing animals to get their furs! This is indeed a crime and you should hold yourself responsible for all the torture these animals endure just to make one fur coat!! STOP THE SLAUGHTER AND TORTURE! Save the animals and stop selling furs
