Support the Mental Health Access and Gun Violence Prevention Act of 2017!

H.R. 1982 was introduced 4/6/17 in attempt to make mental health treatment more accessible through funding. With mental health treatment more accessible, their goal is to have gun violence decrease. Approximately 1 in 4 U.S. citizens have a mental illness, and less than half of children with mental illness receive the treatment they should be receiving. (H.R. 1982) If mental health access were more accessible throughout the United States, undiagnosed mental illness would be a thing of the past. Children would be receiving the care that they need to thrive as adults rather than suffer and fall behind from an illness they never knew they had. Please support the Mental Health Access and Gun Violence Prevention Act of 2017!
