Coachella Woman Threw Bag Of Newborn Puppies In A Dumpster!

Surveillance video captures it all. 54-year-old Deborah Sue Culwell of Coachella walks out of her white jeep with a plastic bag. She peers in the trash can before dropping the bag in between two dumpsters and getting back into her car to drive away.

It's not out of the ordinary to throw trash away in a dumpster area. But it wasn't trash in the bag that this woman unceremoniously threw out. It was seven helpless, three-day-old puppies.

These bagged puppies were only found because of a good samaritan who stumbled upon the pups while looking through the dumpster bins. They were rushed to urgent veterinary services – but sadly, one puppy has already died from the trauma.

This woman cannot be let off the hook. Animal abuse is usually associated with abuse of humans and it's important we treat crimes against animals similarly to crimes against humans.

Will you sign our petition to demand that Culwell be punished to the full extent of the law?

This isn't a case where someone should get away with a warning or a slap on the wrist, this is an attempted murder of newborn puppies before they ever had the chance to play fetch, or run through the yard, or chew a bone.

Will you demand that the justice system stand up for these puppies, and future animals, by signing today?
