Protect Salvadorans from Trumps plan to deport!

On Monday, January 8th, 2018, the Trump Administration declared that it will not be renewing TPS (Temporary Protected Status), a program seeking to promote human welfare for a large number of illegal immigrants from El Salvador that reside in the United States, which protected their rights to live and work freely since 2001. However, the removal of TPS now keeps them from doing so, and will force more than 200,000 immigrants to return back to El Salvador by their TPS removal date: September 2019. The only possible way they can stay in the U.S. is to retrieve legal residency by the listed date; which is a process that can take several years.
This changes everything for indigenous members of the nation of El Salvador and their family members. El Salvador is a country ridden with crime: influenced by horrific gang violence and severe homicide - earning its infamous rank as one of the most dangerous murder capitals in the world. We are all not the same as our president might think we are, many Salvadorans stayed here in the U.S. and obeyed the rules and stayed out of trouble. Legal citizens of the U.S, many of which are minors, may be separated from their guardians and other family members who are facing the strong possibility of deportation. As time draws closer, their situations are becoming more and more hard due to their no longer legal right to work. How can this be stopped?
With you. If you can take 5 seconds out of your day to sign this petition and assist us in this movement against the injustice that is being performed towards immigrants around our nation, we can show the Trump Administration that OUR voice MUST be heard. Our voice is like no other; our voice represents the people. Immigrants laid the foundation for the diffusion of cultures around the nation, and are the very reason why our country is so culturally inclusive. We represent all the great things about this country, and we should never be taken advantage of. If this petition reaches 150 signatures in a month, the White House will finally hear our voice. Therefore, let's get together, and utilize our differences to spark a movement. Thank you.
