Keep North Lakeland Volunteer Football League Going, The Way Its Alwaysbeen.

Duff filed has been home to many young athletes for 54 long years. The board of the league is coming to a conclusion that the league can no longer function properly the way it has for 54 years. They are planning to turn our "year" around league into a "city" league. This will impact all the players and children in the North Lakeland area at the league because not everyone will be able to play football, due to the fact that city league teams can only have a maximum amount of players. Some children will not even get a chance to play football until high school due to the fact of their unathletic ability. This also means that N.L.V.F.L. will only be running once a year instead of year around. When the city league shuts down for the winter, that's when all the city league players come to our league. Our league has been teaching children the game of football the correct way and have no business proving anything to the city. These children all should have a chance to learn the game, NOT just the super stars. The solution i am proposing is that the county should not extend our league into a traveling team, and keep the league running the same way it has for 54 years. "If its not broke, don't fix it".
