Some days ago, Mijas Pueblo open up a new attraction for the tourists.
They have put a old donkey, skinny and tired, to walk in a circle to drag a wheel that presses olives to oil. If this old donkey stops walking, a man hits him in the stomach and the donkey starts to walk for one more min. I saw a Spanish woman and she told to me.... i hope you don't think this is the way we treat animals in Spain, i will not be able to sleep to night because of this. An English woman was crying, her comment was, i cant see this any more, this is what i will remember from my visit in Mijas. A Swedish couple saying, this is animal cruelty, it has to be stopped. Today is a new day with the same poor donkey and jest another day in 50 degrees sun.
