Please sign and share this petition to help save mountain lions in Nebraska from hunting by supporting a statewide ban.

Just this week, a mountain lion cub was shot and killed in northwest Nebraska. The homeowner shot the animal, which was injured and only about 4 months old, simply because it wouldn't leave their property.

There have been no documented Nebraska cases of mountain lions attacking humans since 1991 – but last year more than a dozen were killed through human hunting.

A recent bill has been proposed in Nebraska that will make it illegal to hunt and kill mountain lions.

Please add your name if you support protecting this well-known big cat in Nebraska!

Senator Ernie Chambers of Omaha & Local Lawmakers - We urge you to place this crucial ban on hunting and killing mountain lions in your state and this petition is to ensure your success on this matter. Save the mountain lions in their natural habitat!
