Stop the suffering of kangaroos

As of May 22, 2012, the ACT government decided to kill over 2000 kangaroos in parks around Canberra. The ACT government intends to reduce the population of kangaroos in order to protect endagered plant species and the integrity of the ecosystem. However, there is a lack of scientific evidence that the kangaroos are causing this issue. The estimated cost of the cull is very expensive and it causes the suffering of thousands of kangaroos. Some kangaroos suffer a slow and painful death and joeys are often orphaned as a result of their parent(s) getting shot.

Please sign the petition and help stop the ACT government from any further suffering of kangaroos.
