Six Women Have Accused CBS Head Of Sexual Harassment — Why Is He Still CEO?

Six women have accused CBS CEO Les Moonves of sexual harassment, intimidation, and abuse. The six womens' allegations — plus other accounts from CBS employees — were recounted in a recent New Yorker exposé that documented multiple incidents of forcible touching, groping, unwanted kissing, and physical intimidation by Moonves over several decades.

But despite these serious claims, including a horrific personal account from a well-known actress who said she had to aggressively shove Moonves away when he attacked her in a meeting room — Les Moonves remains at CBS as Chairman and CEO.

When will enough actually be enough? Tell CBS to believe these brave women who came forward and fire Les Moonves for his years of sexual misconduct and abuse!

CBS says it is running its own investigation of the allegations, but so far all we've seen is the same tired PR moves to protect a powerful abuser. Moonves — who racks up over $68 million a year in salary and stock — has even admitted some fault in a recent statement, saying that he recognized past times where he "may have made some women uncomfortable by making advances," calling those incidents "mistakes" that he regrets.

This apology is not enough! Moonves' alleged decades-long behavior has had severe and lasting consequences for the many women who reported assault, harassment, and professional retaliation for coming forward. It's time that CBS hear from all of us to make sure that they hold powerful men like Les Moonves accountable for his actions.
