Save the Keelby Village Hedge

Keelby Parish Council has decided to cut down Two beautiful Hawthorn Hedges. These glorious Hedges have stood on the Village Green for almost 50yrs, they should be cherished NOT cut.

This hedge supports an entire ecosystem of Insects, Birds & is a valuable asset to our environment, just one tree can absorb 48lbs of Carbon Dioxide per year, at a time when we are on the edge of a Climatic disaster, every tree & hedge matters.

We call upon Keelby Parish Council to revoke this decision & leave this wonderful hedge in place, so future generations may enjoy its many benefits.
