Enough is Enough

Many kids at school experience bullying from their peers for their skin color. Today's society prides itself on its anti-racist stance and is currently a hub of cultural diversity which means people of varying races, languages and color. Today's societies have not confronted how racism has evolved over the years and that it actually still exist. It's not simply a thing of the past. A harsh slap to reality, a kid experiences the effects of verbal bullying as kids are admonished for their skin colors. Something they can't even possibly control.
Teenagers are very vulnerable and susceptible to the vicious words of jackals so they will seriously take every insult to heart. Skin color doesn't define you, you define your skin color. Being a certain skin color doesn't change anything, so don't let it change who you are. Don't let stereotypes mark you for the rest of your life -- break away and show the world.
Don't let skin color be a barrier. Race, gender and religion aside we all are made up of the same things and are capable and are entitled to the same goals. But the handicap that holds them back is the disregard and utmost disrespect they receive at the hands of disparaging racists. Your not being asked to be best friends with every person who is different some more than others but rather to just refrain from making any hurtful comments. Don't standby as you watch someone get verbally assaulted or bullied. Try seeing the circumstances from their shoes and try to understand what they are going through. Everywhere they go, they face bullies who want to get the better of them and scar them to an extreme where they will never be able to stand up for themselves. So next time really look before you judge and try to stand up for what's right even if it might be admitting that the "blacks" might be right.
