There is a purposed Telecommunication Tower to be installed on Hahn's Peak this summer , which as we all know, better internet is needed in North Routt. Hahn's Peak is a sacred mountain, historic landmark, home to many locals on and below the mountain in Columbine and Hahn's Peak Village. One of the most sought out hikes to locals and visitors from a far. The Telecommunication tower considered to be Non- ionizing radiation is very dangerous, causing cancer, reproductive issues, affecting the brain, respiratory, skin, eyes and heart. It is skin penetrating, which can led to separated cells, that become confused. There will also have to be local boosters at Columbine cabins, local neighbors and I assume in Hahn's Peak Village to carry signal. Connecting us all in a wireless grid causing EMFs. ( Electro Magnetic Field) Routt County also has a co-location law, meaning that once this is approved anything can be added without permission. This will lead to added cell towers (5G) and etc
We can all agree better internet is needed and that is in the process.
Our local Electric company is installing as we speak Fiber Optic cable on the already existing power lines. This is a faster, safer, far less of an eye sore and the same advantages. Last I spoke with them they plan for in to be installed up Seed House and to Hahns Peak by fall. Can be hardwired in your home for even less exposures to EMFs.
