Sunder the 14 year old elephant has been beaten and kept in chains for years in
India. He is malnourished and has been suffering tremendously.
In 2012 Paul McCartney had arranged a release. Nothing happened.
A politician took him to a shed-where he is again beaten, chained and cannot
lay down to sleep.
Please, we must help this poor animal-Indian laws are screwed.

GOOD NEWS-I HOPE!! they loaded Sunder in a truck and he should be in
a sanctuary by now-check out facebook!!!

Hello Everybody,
I feel disgusted with this news!! Sunder was found in the politician's back yard-
with a big cut on the foot-from chains or rope!! They are stalling his release and
I am sure they are not treating him well!! India does not seem to care-any suggestions-
what can be done???

The Bombay court has ordered the release of Sunder to a Sanctuary.
Saw the news from Peta India-we will see if they go through with it.
I will keep the petition open for now.
