Pit bull fighting is still going on. The evil people running these fighting rings, as well as cock fighting, are continuing to do so because there are no consequences. Recently the Senate enacted a bill that people attending would be arrested. That's all well and fine, but what we need is to ask the Senate to enforce a MANDATORY 25 years in prison for anyone involved in or attending, these activities. A slap on the wrist is just not doing it.
These poor animals that are inhumanely treated, fought, beaten near death, (do not get medical care), or killed in the ring, deserve to have their abusers locked away so that they cannot continue to do this.
