Georgia state Rep. Jason Spencer threatened the life of a former representative. Former state Rep. LaDawn Jones spoke out against Spencer's support of confederate monuments online. Instead of engaging in a conversation or just ignoring the comment,
Spencer said that if she keeps talking like that she may "go missing" in the river.
This is a white elected official, making threats to an African American former colleague and it cannot be tolerated. Sign to get this guy out of office.
Representatives should be the best among us, they should represent our views and such a hateful and racist view is not held by the majority of this country. We need to fight against anyone in public office that holds these racist views.
Besides the racial component, an elected official should not be allowed to openly threaten a person and get away with it.
